Stop the Litter!

I believe the titel says it all.
Stop the litter!

Some people may think that it's not such a big deal to litter and that there are people who ''pick them up'' of the ground.
Yes it's true that there are people who work for the enviroment and they take care of it, the grass, the forest and so on, but what about the ocean?
MANY people dump things in the ocean and they think that nothing will be harmed. Well, you are WRONG.
Here's a little part of a artical I read about a sperm whale dying from eating plastic which clogged his entire system.

''July 29, 2013, a sperm whale was stranded on Tershelling, a northern island in the Netherlands. A rescue attempt was attempted, but unfortunately the whale died. A young adult at 13.5 meters was taken for a necropsy at the port of Harlington. The sperm whale had plastic in its stomach, an increasing common phenomenon say researchers at the Biodiversity Centre Naturalis. In  March of this year, a 10 meter long sperm whale washed up on Spain’s South Coast. This whale had swallowed 59 different plastic items totaling over 37 pounds. Most of this plastic consisted of transparent sheeting used to build greenhouses in Almeria and Grenada for the purpose of tomatoes for the European market. The rest was plastic bags, nine meters of rope, two stretches of hosepipe, two small flower pots, and a plastic spray canister. Cause of death was intestinal blockage.''

I do believe that this IS something serious.. I hate to see people litter. It's the worst thing someone can do!
And then they talk about the global warming and stuff like that and think it's all the ''planets'' doing. No it's not. We are destroying this world with our factories and cars and gas and so on.
But some things like that can't be really changed, so the least we can do is to STOP littering.
If we want to live, we gotta respect the planet, not destroy it.
